If you are running Microsoft products that are no longer within mainstream support (for example, Windows Server 2008R2) and if you have Help Desk support services within your Master Agreement at CTComp for systems with these products, there may be times when CTComp will pass along a $499 support fee from Microsoft.
These cases will likely be rare, but sometimes advanced support is required from Microsoft and if we open a ticket for a product out of mainstream support, this additional fee will be applicable. If such a scenario should arise, CTComp will notify you of the need for the additional $499 fee so that you may choose instead to close the CTComp support ticket and not incur this additional charge. However, please note that closing the support ticket before receiving the advanced support from Microsoft will likely result in your support issue going unresolved.
