"As part of a project to implement an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) application in eighteen locations across Connecticut, Planned Parenthood of CT needed to upgrade and expand its network capacity to provide increased storage and speed. We submitted bids for a large capacity storage network and a high capacity server system. PPCT finally selected the proposal from CCS to provide, configure and test a Six-Terabyte HP EVA4400 Storage Area Network and a seven blade HP BLc7000 Blade System. These systems coupled with the addition of Citrix servers, VMware software, and a server room UPS and A/C brought the thirty-plus server network up to the standards needed to provide quality health care to the over sixty-thousand patients we see each year. The installation of our new network components by CCS has allowed our small IT staff to administer and maintain the new EMR implementation and its network infrastructure with greater ease and confidence."
